"Hope he hasn't then," Butcher listened carefully but all he could hear were hungry whines. "I think they're calling you, Daddy."

Mikey chuckled, standing up. He reached out a hand for Butcher.

"DADDY!" Nils screeched loudly, hands over his ears.

Butcher grinned as he took Mikey's hand. "Nils is taking charge again."

Mikey pulled Butcher up and walked towards the bedroom.

Zeke splashed Nils angrily, making his older brother wail.

"Maybe we should keep towels in here," Butcher smiled sheepishly.

Chester chuckled, giving Zeke a little hug. "Ba."

Mikey's eyes widened as he looked at the chaos. "Right, I'm going to lie down and we'll attach as many of them as we can, ok?"

Butcher nodded, "How do we feed Chase? He doesn't have teeth."

Reve scratched her cheek and reached for her papa with a grin.

Mikey frowned. "Let me feed the others first." He slipped onto the bed and lay down.

Butcher picked up Zeke and Chester to bring closer first since they seemed to be whining the loudest. "You already fed Reve and Adelaide they should be fine right?"

Mikey shrugged. "No idea, depends how big their appetites are."

"Okay," Butcher brought Josie over, a little concerned about Tamsin being a puppy. "Are you hungry, girls?" He asked the two blondes. Reve promptly bit him with a playful smile on her face. "I don't know if that's a yes or a no."

Tamsin barked and turned into a snake, hissing. Mikey swallowed in pain as his children began to feed.

Adelaide smiled up at her papa quietly. Reve smacked his arm, scratched her cheek, and smacked his arm again. "I guess that's a no for both of you." He watched Mikey.

"Nils?" Mikey's eyes were closed, his skin pale.

Butcher picked Nils up and put him next to his daddy, aware that the boy could move on his own but this way was faster.

Nils roared sulkily, before biting into Mikey. The auburn haired avian gave a quiet groan of pain.

Butcher chuckled, turning to play with their blonde daughters to keep them amused. "Hi."

Adelaide smiled and raised her arms up to him, and Reve did the same.

Mikey concentrated on his breathing, lying trembling on the bed.

Butcher picked Adelaide up and put her near Mikey's head. She patted his cheek lightly.

"Do you want me to bring you a bottle of blood?" Butcher picked Reve up and held her.

Mikey's breathing was snuffly. He shook his head slowly as Zeke detached himself, wiping his mouth.

Butcher tried to put Reve down on the bed but she clung to his arm. "Not again." He sat, leaning to cup Mikey's face in his hand.

Mikey stayed still. Nils stopped feeding and hugged him, making the man relax slowly.

Chester pulled away and wiped his mouth on his arm, sitting back with Zeke. Reve decided it was a nice time to bite Butcher again although she wasn't hungry. "Ow," he frowned slightly. "Don't bite Papa."
