Do You Wanna Leave or Something?

Butcher chuckled as he watched. "She doesn't have cooties, Nils."

"You can lick Papa's face, Tamsin. I don't mind," Butcher chuckled, ruffling Nils' hair.

"You catch on quick," Butcher kissed Nils' forehead. "You're such a smart little guy. But your sisters don't have cooties."

"I wonder when the other burdees are going to hatch," Butcher shook his head, realizing he wasn't going to win.

"Silly Nils," Butcher chuckled, blowing a raspberry on his son's arm.

There was a small thumping sound in one of the eggs in the tub then a few seconds of silence followed by another small thump.

"There's my good boy," Butcher laughed.

There were a few more thumps followed by a cracking sound and a confused squeak.

Reve blinked up at him, only her head sticking out of her egg.

When Mikey spoke Reve smiled at him and tried to wiggle free only to start tipping to the side with a loud squeak.

Reve giggled happily and tried to free her arms from the egg so she could hold them out to Mikey.

Reve tried to wiggle free from the towel once she felt dry enough.

"No crying," Butcher told Nils. "That's a good sign."

Reve stayed still and smiled up at her Daddy sweetly, deciding to look around instead.

Reve made a happy sound and looked down at the tub.

"This isn't going to be so bad," Butcher smiled.

Reve tried to wiggle free from Mikey when she saw Butcher and all the other babies on the bed.

"Hello Reve," Butcher smiled at the baby who looked most like him. "This is Nils, Tamsin, Josie, Zeke, and Chester. So only Chase is left."
