William smiled. He was happy that Mike knew what he wanted him to do. William continued petting the girl's back, trying to calm her down. "Shh, it'll be okay." He could see stains from a few of the girl's tears on his shirt.

Sisky flinched visibly and backed away from William and the little girl, walking away slowly. She forgot she wasn't a cat anymore.

Matt looked around, a dark look on his face.
"He-ee pushed meee..." He heard the little girl sob.

"Slow down, we should wait for William and Sisky," Mike warned him. He clung to the back of the man's shirt for lack of a better grip. "Don't worry, we all saw it was an accident. The little girl's more scared than hurt."

William petted the little girl's head. "Shh, he didn't do it on purpose, I promise. It was just an accident," he said soothingly. He smiled over at Matt, trying to tell him that everything was okay.

Sisky caught up with Matt and Mike, regaining her composure. You're not a scary man.

Matt hunched his shoulders up, looking down at the ground. His hair hid his face.

Mike rubbed the man's back and smirked. "You're definitely not scaring all the girls," he commented, glancing at Sisky.

William smiled as the little girl stopped crying. She wiped her eyes. "Do you want us to take you back to your mommy?" he asked. The little girl shook her head and walked over to her bike, picking it up. "Thank you," she said quietly before riding off. William watched to make sure that she made it down the street safely before standing up.

Matt jerked away from Mike. He turned around, his face twisted in an animalistic sneer. Don't touch me.

Mike let his arm fall to his side. Alright, I'm sorry. I forgot you didn't like it. He tried to smile slightly so Matt wouldn't think he had done anything wrong.

William walked over to the group and stood silently, noticing that Matt looked a little angry.

Mike's smile faded as he stepped back, unable to hide the fear that suddenly overcame him.

Sisky froze and stared at Matt's fangs as if hypnotized by them.

Matt kept walking, his head down. His fangs were still bared, hidden by his thick dark hair.
