Peace talks in a city of war

Roxine glanced at Stephan as well but remained silent.

Stephan changed back into his human form and stood up. He glanced at Roxine. "I hate you." He whispered.

Roxine frowned. "Wanna expand on that one Kiddo?"

Stephan glared at her. "You wanted me to leave my father while he could of been dying!"

Roxine smiled sadly and shrugged. "Hard decisions come with the job." she murmured, looking down.

Stephan shook his head. "How could you expect me to just leave!"

Roxine shrugged again and stood up, dusting off her trousers. "So sue me." she mumbled, walking away. "Hestia will clean you up, Gabriel." she added quietly.

Gabriel sat up and walked after her, hissing in pain. "Roxine!"

Roxine turned back and put ehr hands on his shoulders, stopping him from moving as much. "If I say I won't leave until Hestia's cleaned you up will you stop moving?"

"I don't want you to leave full stop." Gabriel told her simply, turning to glare at Stephan. "Apologize!!"

Roxine looked away. "No, the Kiddo's right. I shouldn't have told him to leave. But you have to understand," she was looking at Stephan again now. "I'm used to dealing with a group of girls who follow without hesitation and who have chosen to leave their families." she shrugged. "Kinda new for me."

Stephan sighed. "The pack IS family. We don't leave each other- right father?" He looked at Gabriel for approval.
Gabriel nodded. "That is correct son."

Roxine pulled a face and turned to walk away again. "The girls are family but there's a head of the family and you gotta have limits."

Stephan placed a hand on Roxine's shoulder. "I'm sorry for my lack of respect Lupa- please dont go."

Roxine shrugged him off. "Forgiven." she muttered. She glanced up gratefully as Hestia returned, holding a first aid kit. "Clean him up." she murmured, giving Hestia a secret little smile she managed to hide from Gabriel and Stephan.

Gabriel sighed and slumped down. "Damn I'm tired."

Hestia smiled at him gently. "You will be." she told him, as she began to tend to his wounds, kneeling beside him. "Roxy, you wanna scope out the bar?" she called. "I can manage here."
Roxine nodded and started off towards the entrance to the Metro.

Gabriel watched her go, sighing softly.

Hestia glanced up at him, still tending his wounds calmly. "Wanna talk?" she offered quietly.

Gabriel shrugged. "Just thinking."

Hestia nodded, smiling softly.

Roxine sat down and began contemplating whether or not she should hit her head against the bar repeatedly.

Gabriel sat up and entered the Metro, looking round for Roxine.

Roxine decided against banging her head and ordered a drink instead.

Gabriel sat down beside her. "Sorry about Stephan."

Roxine glanced up sharply. She smiled. "It's okay."
