Mikey perched on the windowsill and looked in. He waved frantically at Michael, motioning for him to open the door.

Michael caught Mikey's movement through the corner of his eye and moved to open it, hoping that Tom would be okay for the trip to Mandible House.

Tom's eyes opened, but they were glazed and blanky.

Mikey recoiled, but decided not to ask. He moved to pick Michael up.

Tom shuddered and gagged as his friend picked him up.

Mikey balanced Tom in his arms, biting his lip. "I would put him in my wing, but I can't fly with anyone in them."

Tom subconsciously snuggled close to the body heat.

Tom's eyes slowly focused. He gave a hysterical little giggle.

Mikey grunted, slowly beating his wings. "My god you need to lose weight." He muttered to the man on his back before soaring out of the window.

Tom closed his eyes again and snuggled into Mikey, looking better than before.

Mikey ignored Michael and flew unsteadily back towards his home.

Darren considered trying to stop them but didn't, Tom needed help. Instead he left heading back to the station.

Michael supposed he'd have to go back once he was sure Tom was going to be okay, but he didn't really want to.
