Sue blinked in surprise. "Mr Leonheart I'm sorry but you have to." Roxine was hurried out of the ambulance on a stertcher.

Gabriel watched her go, hands clentching. "I will not leave moi lupa." He glared at Sue. "Do not argue with me human." He leapt out of the ambulance.

Sue let out a cry. "SIR! If you want us to help her you have to stay away!"

Hestia ran up and restrained Gabriel calmly. "Gabriel she's right. The best thing you can do is let them work."

Gabriel hissed at Hestia. "I cant leave her!" He snapped, tears in his eyes. "I wont!"

Hestia shook her head. "You have to!" her voice cracked. "Roxy could be really hurt this time! And I am not going to lose my near-sister because of your impatients!!"

Hestia sat down and waited, her breathing shakey as she fought back tears. A few slipped out anyway.

Hestia smiled weakly. "We were doing self-defense stuff before I left. Carmen called me on my way to town." she shrugged. "He's getting really good. Not good enough to start fights but he could end one if he had to, I recon."
