Butcher kissed the part of Mikey's body that his mouth was nearest. He wasn't really sure what part he was kissing because he was tired and his eyes were closed.

Butcher made a whiny sound and pressed his face against Mikey.

Nick grinned sheepishly. "I wasn't sure... I heard some strange things earlier." He was rewarded by a blush from his former lover.

"Okay," Butcher let go of Mikey so he could leave. "If they really need me I'll go down."

Mikey moved to a sitting position, still blushing. "I'm going with you." He said quietly, briefly reaching for his lover's hand before he dropped it. Nils burbled to himself.

Butcher wrapped his wings around himself and settled down on the bed.

Butcher started shaking slightly in anger and sadness. Nils almost died because I wasn't careful. He felt himself slipping in and out of consciousness as his body continued to heal itself.

"Andrew? Andrew!" Mikey moved towards him. He held the other man tight, his muscled arms wrapped around his body.

Butcher opened his eyes wide in surprise. "Mikey?" He smiled softly. "Maybe I should come with you after all..."

Mikey took Butcher's hand and opened the door. "Just so you know." He said quietly, balancing Nils on his shoulder. "You're a brilliant parent. I love you."
