Back to the start...

Demyx sighed as he slumped down onto the snow covered ground, hugging his guitar to his chest. It was odd to think the last time he'd been here he had been human, while now he was an avian- and a father. Running a hand through his hair he stared up at the starless sky, thinking about everything that had happened. "It's my fault." He whispered softly.

Ariel wandered through the park looking for a quiet spot... she opted for the swings. Swinging gently, she looked around, seeing a figure slumped to the ground; she jumped off to go and see if they were alright.
She tapped him on the shoulder...

Demyx looked up at the female. "What?" He asked tiredly.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted company tis all, you just look a bit down..." She trailed off, not sure what to say

Demyx shrugged. "Whatever."

She sat down beside him, asking who he was...

"Demyx Melody." Demyx replied. "And you?"

"Ariel Carlisle" she replied offering out a willing hand.

Demyx shook her hand slowly, green eyes sweeping her figure. "So, you human or something else?" Normally he would have been more tactfull, but he simply didn't feel like it now.

"Something else I'd guess yous say. Brought up human mind. Changling. You?" She enquired

Demyx looked down at his guitar. "Avian. Any family?"

Ariel looked down to the floor... "Nah, died a while back... you?"

Demyx shrugged. "Family's dead, but I've got a fiance' and a little girl."

"Aww wow, whats their names?" She paused a second, "Also if you don't mind me asking, why you all alone here?"

Demyx sighed. "Fiance's name is Cyzarine, childs name is Rose. I'm all alone here because they'd be better off without me."

Not wanting to be so bold she tries to think of a way to ask why.... but is quickly failing so she just looks at him in a way as to enquire why and yet to feel sad for him...

Demyx shrugged. "Everyone I've ever loved has been murdered, I don't want anything to happen to them."

An intake of breath and a sort of ouch is muttered from Ariel lips as he says this. "Gosh you really must love them... " Trying to change the subject in a subtle kind of way, "So you play guitar?" And failing miserably.

Demyx nodded. "Played it all my life, you got any hobbies?" He began strumming slowly.

"Not really..." Ariel didn't really do alot... just sort of wandered around lookign for places to go and new things to see. "I used to walk backwards alot, but I guess it's not a hobby... more a habbit, I don't do it so much anymore not since... well anyway..." She trailed off... not wanting to say why, as she remembered and tears began to form.

Demyx began playing a song, humming softly in an effort to cheer Ariel up. His voice showed the fact he was from New Orleans.

*Hmff* A smile appeared slowly on Ariels face at the sheer beauty of the tune. She breathed in deeply, leaning backwards on the snow... "So... whats it like where your from?"

Demyx shrugged. "Not that different from here, the nights are beautiful though." He began singing. "There's only us, there's only this, forget regret, or life is your to miss, no other road, no other day, no day but today." Demyx stopped and yawned. "So, where you from?"

"las vegas..." She remembers what it was like there, smiling slowly she said "So full of lights, you could never see the sky where I was... me and Donny used to go out away from the lights to sit and stare at stars...." Trailing of she shut her eyes, lying back, her arms above her head...

Demyx smiled. "Sounds nice." He began playing another song, humming rather than singing.
