Michelle hestated before smiling and flying down to rest on a branch of a bush beside Xcelia. "Michelle."

Xcelia shot her a shaky smile. "Are you a fairy?" She asked suddenly.

Michelle nodded calmly. "And you're a vampire." she stated. A pause. "Sorry about the 'mindless blood-sucker' thing." she added, her expression turning apologetic.

Xcelia paused. "I'm a half vampire actually." She shrugged. "Half vamp half shifter"

Michelle's eyebrows raised in interest. "Really? Nice."

Xcelia shrugged. "Not really, but you learn to live with it."

Michelle shrugged as well. "Yeah, well, it ain't fun almost getting squished." she replied, returning to human-size and sitting beside Xcelia.

Xcelia blinked in surprise then smiled at Michelle.

Xcelia absent mindedly began daydreaming about the shifter she had met.

Michelle peered at the woman in concern. "Urr, Xcelia? You in there?"

Xcelia blinked. "Sorry! I was thinking about a...friend of mine."

Michelle grinned knowingly. "A friend how?"

Xcelia smirked. "Well....I like him but..." She sighed. "He's one of people who never shows what he feels..."

Michelle rolled her eyes. "Urgh they're so annoying." she grumbled.

Xcelia nodded. "I think he might like me, a little anyway!"

Michelle grinned again. "It's a start." she agreed. "So what's his name?"

Xcelia sat up a little. "Well he likes everyone to call him Hood." She explained. "He's a shifter."

Michelle nodded. "Never heard of him!" she replied cheerily. "But then again I've only been in Chicago a few days."

Xcelia nodded, smiling slightly. "So, where'd do you live?"
Why am I asking? Meh, never mind...

Michelle pulled a face. "Apartment off the city centre." she shrugged. "It's nothing special."

Xcelia smiled. "Sounds nice."

Michelle smiled back. "Meh. And you? Where'd you live?"

Xcelia paused. "No where." She mumbled

Michelle blinked, not expecting that as her answer. "Really? You can stay with me if you want

Xcelia shook her head softly. "It wouldnt be fair."

Michelle raised an eyebrow. "Oh? How so?"
