One is the loniest number, apart from none

Xcelia sighed and sat down, rubbing the tears from her face and tucking herself up into a small ball. She burried her head in her knees, using her long black hair to hide her face from passers by.
She hated people! Hated- Hated- Hated them!

Lux wandered around the park, so incredibly lonely that she wondered why she would possibly be in the park of all places, with all the happy kiddies that would be running around. She saw a girl sitting alone and decided to take her chances and go up to her. "Um. Are you okay?"

Donny stopped moving, and stood stone still.

There we people here!

If they didn't notice him, it would be okay.

After deciding on a plan of action, he had a look around him.

There were several trees, and a stream somewhere..

Putting his plan into action, he shot up a tree and hid.

Perched somewhat precariously on a branch, he watched the park...

Xcelia sniffed and looked up, blinking when she saw that someone was actually talking to her. She hadnt spoken to anyone since Donatello and Hood in the Metro- and that was some time ago.
Tucking her knees beneath her, Xcelia wiped the tears from her eyes. "I'm fine." She replied harshly, pausing as she heard the sound of leaves rustling.

Donny sneaked off.

He had made too much noise, again.

This was beginning to get too much.

Michelle frowned, flying through the branches of the tree in fairy-size. She blinked in surprise upon seeing a man - clearly human - sneaking away. She flew in front of his face, glaring at him so he stopped.

Donny stopped.

There was something fluttering in his face.

He wasn't quite sure what it was.

He was prepared for a fight if one should be neccesary.

Michelle worsened her glare on him and flew back so he could see her better. "Is there a reason you're sat in a tree spying on those two people?" she asked, hands on her hips indignantly.

Donny was a little taken aback.

"No, no reason." he said, wondering what this strange fairy thig was.

Michelle continued to glare at him. "Then why are you in this tree?" she demanded.

Donnatello didn't say anything.

He could crush her if the need arose.

Xcelia frowned as she heard voices and walked over to the tree, raising an eyebrow. "Donatello, what are you doing up there?" She frowned. "And who are you talking to?"

Michelle flew round his head angrily, her tiny wings beating furiously. "Well?"

Xcelia sighed and climbed up into the tree, blinking as she saw the fairy. "Er....Who are you?"

Xcelia sighed. "Look you know what- I dont want to know." She leapt from the tree and walked out of the park wondering if she could find Hood...

Michelle whiped round in surprise before moving back when she saw Xcelia. "I could ask you the same thing."

Xcelia walked back over to the fairy, scowling. "You ask me what you pitiful little short fry?!"

Michelle shook with fury and darted in front of Xcelia's face again. "Ask you who you are, you mindless blood-sucker!" she snapped.

Xcelia narrowed her eyes and let out a hiss. "I'm not mindless." She rounded on Donatello. "Tell her!"

Michelle rolled her eyes and flew away, hovering jsut out of Xcelia's reach. "Oh yeah. You don't rely on anyone." she muttered sarcastically.

Xcelia snarled at her and removed her Magnum 300. "You might be small but I can still shoot you!"

Michelle's eyes widened before she flew back into the tree, resting behind a branch. She seemed to have forgotten about Donatello for the moment.

Xcelia sighed and put the gun away. "Sorry."
Suppose this is why I dont have any friends..
Xcelia wiped the tears from her eyes and leapt from the tree, landing in a huddled heap on the ground.

Michelle peered out from behind a branch, still wary although not as much now the gun was away. "Forgiven." she murmured. She wasn't even sure if the woman would hear her.

Xcelia sniffled and wiped her nose on her wrist warmers. "Thanks." She mumbled in reply. "My name's Xcelia."
