So kick me while I'm down

Roxine sighed as she entered the Metro, slightly out of breath from running about parts of the city and double tracking herself so Gabriel (hopefully) wouldn't find her as fast. She knew that going to the Metro after all was probably quite stupid, but she was annoyed and needed a drink. So sue me.
Taking a seat in the corner of the bar and hiding her face from view behind two bulky drunks beside her, she quickly ordered and sat back to wait. Let the drinks begin.

Gabriel walked into the metro, moving his hair from his face. He glanced around the club, smiling faintly when he saw Roxine. "Going to tell me what I've done wrong now?" He asked, sitting next to her.

Roxine growled quietly and toyed with the paper umbrella in her drink. Didn't Jade order this or something? A faint smirk crossed her lips at this before she shook her head. "It's nothing." she muttered. "And I thought I told you not to follow me? I need to think, is all." She paused. "And drink."

Gabriel sighed. "And I thought I asked you to tell me what I had done wrong." He leaned back in his seat.

Roxine glared down at her drink. "Gabriel, just go." she snapped. "I need to think, I've told you. Will you just drop it already?"

Gabriel paused. "It's something to do with the porno shoot isnt it?" He bit his lip. "It must be- you were fine before that."

Roxine huffed quietly, more annoyed he was still there than that he had managed to guess what was wrong. "It's nothing." she insisted. "Now go away before I yell something full of swearwords and that I'm almost certainly going to regret yelling later."

Gabriel leaned forwards. "I'm not going anywhere Roxine." He told her, his tone low and deadly.

Roxine groaned quietly. "Gabriel, please. Let me think, okay? I'm not gonna tell you anything, of thta I am certain."

Gabriel sighed. "Look if you think what happened in that shoot is going to happen to you." He stood up. "Then you don't know me Roxine MacBeth."

Roxine frowned as he stood up but stayed silent. So what is he, psychic as well now? She turned back to her drink, blowing stray strands of hair out of her face.

Gabriel paused, staring down at her for a moment. "You really do think I'd do that to you?"

Roxine gritted her teeth, trying not to blow up at him. Go away, damnit, so I can calm down. I don't want to go back to being lonely for a living.

Gabriel slammed his hands down on the table. "God damnit Roxine, tell me!" He roared.

Roxine barely jumped, used to pissed-off men. Stop making me feel bad. I hate this fucking feeling. She glared at him. "Stop trying to read my mind until I've figured out what;s going on inside it for myself." she snapped. "You're not helping, ya know. I came here for a reason and it wasn't to be followed and then lectured by you!" She was yelling now. Roxine didn't realise it until she'd stopped yelling, but she was. Shaking her head she sunk back into her seat, not entirely sure when she she'd shot up from it.

Gabriel growled and leaned closer to her. "Roxine please...Just tell me what I've done." He dropped his head. "Please.."

Roxine glared at her drink again. Ten out of ten for determination, Gabriel. Now let's see if you can keep that up and live to tell the fucking tale!
"Gabriel." Roxine started sweetly, turning to face him again. "Get bent." she growled.

Gabriel sighed, trying not to show the tears in his eyes. "You don't trust me do you?"

Roxine sighed as well. "No, I just really don't want to do this right now. If I wanted to see which of us was more determined and had the better lungs I would have stayed. But I don't so please just go. I'll let you know once I'm done figuring stuff out and calming down." Go, damn you! Right now it's not you I trust least. I don't want to hurt you but if you stick around much longer I swear I'm gonna lose it!

Gabriel shook his head. "I'm not going." He told her determindly.

There was a long, empty pause before Roxine let out a light, slightly hollow, laugh. "Did you not hear what I said? Gabriel, please, just go." She started drinking her drink again. Maybe I can try and outrun him or get away from this crowd at least.

"I heard what you said. I'm just ignoring it." Gabriel snapped.

Roxine rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, thanks for respecting my needs." she muttered, pushing some money to the barman and getting up to leave. "You can stay here now. Or go, I'm not really bothered. Just do me a favour and don't follow me this time."

Gabriel followed her anyway. "Roxine, please. Just talk to me!"

Roxine ignored him stubbornly, walking out and started off down the street, ignoring the cold air around her.
