Breaking back into it

Wren smirked and turned to face her properly. "If you couldn't then I would have killed you by now." she replied. "Besides, I follow Ryland's orders. He wants you alive and hence you still live."

"Why would he want me alive, though?" She said simply. "I'm pretty much useless."

Wren shrugged. "So was I at first. But he needs all the power he can get, I guess, so you're being trained up. It's in your own good to join him, though."

"What do you mean?" She asked

"Well, he looks after us. I mean, his reputation gets him great prices and all we have to do in return are a few errands and services." Wren shrugged. "It could be a lot, lot worse."

"How so?" She asked, hoping she wasn't being a bother with all of the questions

Wren sighed. "No money, no experience, no food, no knowledge of the city: he can cancel out all of this. Now can we please get back to the hunt? My throat's getting dry."

She nodded and stared at her feet

Wren rolled her eyes. "Just come on." she muttered, stalking back into the crowd. 300+ years and I still can't be social except to my betters. A note for the diary. she thought sarcastically.

She followed Wren, trying her best to be quiet and not ask questions

Wren started luring a boy over to her, ignoring Haylie. Girl won't have help in the 'real world'. Better get used to it.

Haylie slumped and went back to trying to get a boy

Wren smirked as she let a boy 'pursuade' her to come outside with him.

Haylie looked over at Wren's catch and couldn't help but chuckle. These boys were too easy.

Wren smirked as the boy pushed her up against the wall outside, moaning as he began to kiss her neck. She moaned louder as she sang her fangs into his neck, drinking him slowly, listening to him gasp in surprise.

Moments later Haylie's boy led her to the alley, his eyes widening when he saw Wren and the bodies at her feet. He turned to go back inside when Haylie pressed him against the wall, quickly sinking her fangs into his neck

Wren watched Haylie with amusement, her smirk widening slightly each time the boy she was feeding off whimpered. She hushed him mockingly before ripping out his throat gleefully, putting all her frustration into it. Damn that feels good!

Haylie pulled back, licking the blood off her lips. She looked at Wren silently

Wren glanced at Heylie and smirked. "Okay, now that I enjoyed." She paused. "Class dissmissed. There's blood all over me." she pulled a face, glancing down at ehr clothes.

"Me too," She kept licking her lips. "I could totally get used to this."

Wren grinned. "Welcome to my world." she replied, walking past Haylie, headed back to the Meagan.

Haylie turned on her heals and followed instantly
