Breaking back into it

Haylie watched closely over the boy's shoulder as he blabbered in her ear. "Shut up." She hissed, trying to listen to Wren

Wren glanced back and caught Haylie's eye. She flashed a smile at her vampire friend. "One sec." she told him brightly, sauntering back into the crowd. She blinked at Haylie innocently. "I'm bored. You coming?" she asked, not sparing the other vampire boy a glance. She finally looked at him, with mild surprise and distaste. "You can bring him if you want." she added.

"Okay," She agreed, grabbing the other boy's arm. She rolled her eyes at the way he yelped when she dug her nails in. "Lead the way"

Wren smiled happily, seemingly very innocent and even ditzy. She turned and walked back, flashing a smile at her own target, before latching onto his arm and steering him outside.

Haylie giggled in mock interest at something that her boy had said as she led him back to the alley

Wren smiled sweetly, as the boys finally noticed the two dead humans. "Goodbye." she told him sweetly, pressing her lips to his in order to position her hands correctly. She drew back, smirking wickedly, and promptly snapped his neck. A second passed before she let him drop blank-faced.
"Your turn dearie." she told Haylie, turning to watch once again.

She watched the boy's face cloud with fear as she followed Wren's instructions. In an instant the boy was dead and she dropped him drop to the ground carelessly

Wren grinned. "Having fun?" she asked.

She nodded.

"Good. Any questions? 'Cause if you don't ask now you could die from it later." Wren shrugged. "I've seen it happen."

"Well is there anything you think I should know?" She raised an eyebrow.

Wren paused to think. "Don't be afraid to seduce them. Likewise, don't be afraid to run." she stated. "Know your priorities. If you're out hunting, you're first priority is to live and then to feed. And so on and so forth." she waved a hand dismissively. "Anything else?"

She shook her head but then nodded. "Can I know a little more about Ryland?"

Wren hesitated and then nodded. "He's the clan leader, as you know. His mate was William Beckett but he ran off with Mike Carden, the supposed Protector of the City." she snorted before continuing. "He's not someone you want to be on the wrong side of, though. He has complete power over the clan." she shrugged. "Questions?"

She crossed her arms across her chest. "What's the point of a clan," She said softly. "And what does Ryland do?"

Wren thought on this before speaking again. "The point of the clan is to protect the vampires and keep them in line. Ryland is the head of the clan because he can keep the vampires in line. There has to be boundaries or we'd end up killing each other as well as humans, avians and the rest of 'em." she shrugged. "Plus there are vampires like you out there who need training and to be filled in. If there wasn't a clan then most of them would die before they learnt anything. Ryland does a lot more than people notice. Probably more than I notice."

She nodded understandibly. "And if we're not strong enough? What happens?"

"Then we die." Wren replied simply. "It's kill or be killed." she shrugged. "Get used to it."

"Tell me more about this war that's going on," She said "What's my part in this"

"Your part is to help us win." Wren replied calmly. "The war is going to break out soon, everyone can it when they know what to look for." she grinned at Haylie before continuing. "You follow Ryland's orders and help kill the opposition and should be okay. This war really comes down to 'kill or be killed' again." she shrugged. "But that's life for me in general so I'm not too bothered."

She nodded weakly. "Kill or be Killed," She echoed

"Indeed." Wren agreed. "Hence why I'm training you. Come on." she entered the Metro again. "We'll pick up another couple of humans and then go."

"How do you know who to trust?" She said as she followed quickly

Wren shrugged. "You don't. But if you follow Ryland and stick with him then you should be safe."

"And you? I can trust you?" She said
