Subject: Living a Lie, Trying to Survive Mon Aug 27, 2007 11:27 am

Day gone, hours gone. He’d be running for so longer, stumbling over the rocky ground, feet slamming against the path. Sometimes remembering to lift off and fly, but that took so much energy, and energy he didn’t have. Blood mingled, leaving a clear trail, but he couldn’t stop running. They would catch him, and he would never be safe.
Mikey woke suddenly, eyes taking in his surroundings. He relaxed. It was a dream. I'm home.

Butcher walked in, still blushing slightly from what Mike had asked him.

"Hey." Mikey rubbed his eyes, yawning. He hadn't taken his clothes off last night, just fallen onto his bed. No wonder he was uncomfortable.

Butcher's blush deepened. "Hey." He didn't know why what Mike asked was bothering him so much. What do I want?

Mikey swung himself out of bed and stared disapprovingly at his wrinkled clothes. He pulled out some fresh clothes and began to change.

Butcher looked away, "So... how was your sleep last night?"

"Not too great." Mikey raised an eyebrow at Butcher's sudden turn away, but didn't say anything as he stepped into his boxers.

Butcher glanced at Mikey out of the corner of his eyes looked back at the wall he was staring at. "That's too bad."

He shrugged. "I always have problems sleeping." He tugged on his black trousers. "I'm wearing trousers Andrew, you can look."

Butcher turned and gave Mikey a look, still blushing. He looked down at himself and noticed the fact that he was always almost naked. Hopefully Mikey wouldn't ask...

"Why the sudden modesty?" Mikey buttoned up a burgundy shirt adeptly.

"Uh..." Butcher considered trading his short shorts for his plaid pants.

Mikey raised an eyebrow in confusion, riffling through his clothes. "With the waistcoat, or without?" He murmured to himself, holding up a black waistcoat.

"I like it," Butcher looked then decided to go for it and when through his things for a pair of pants.

Mikey shot him a fond look, pulling on the waistcoat. "You haven't answered my question!"

"You always remember when I don't answer don't you?" Mike just dropped it, but then again I had a better distraction. "Mike just said something last night..." He clutched a pair of clean, but somewhat wrinkly, black jeans and looked slightly mortified when he realized he'd have to take of his shorts to put them on.

"I don't forget things." Mikey sat down on the bed and pulled his hair out of its tie. It draped in front of his face. "What did he say?"

"I wanted to try and see if I could tell how William's babies were developing and Mike asked if I wanted my own baby." Butcher blurted and turned around to take his shorts off and put his pants on over his briefs.

"Right..." Mikey laughed uneasily. "That's still nothing to do with me." He tugged his brush through his long hair.

Butcher was glad his back was to Mikey. "I asked him who I'd have one with."

Mikey's eyes widened silently as he twisted his hair into a bun on the top of his head.

Butcher zipped up his fly and grabbed a plain white v-neck t-shirt to pull on.

"I didn't say anything," Butcher pulled his shirt over his head.

He jumped off the bed and moved until he was barely an inch away from Butcher. "Then it doesn't make much sense, does it?" he breathed, gliding into the corridor.
