Tears slowly rolled down Tom's cheeks as he heard what was happening.

Caitlyn looked up and popped back into a little girl. "Ooowwnnn?" She asked in a quiet voice, reaching out to touch his face.

"Forget it," the man grabbed Sisky by the hips. "Right here is fine." She squeaked, able to see Matt still on the ground.

Matt's face contorted with rage. He leapt to his feet and grabbed the man, pulling him roughly away from Sisky. Breathing harshly, he bit into his neck.

"You're too thin." Michael picked Bill up more easily than he would have liked to.

Tom sniffled quietly, reaching out a hand to wipe his tears away. He caught Caitlyn's hand in his with a sad smile.

Sisky choked back a sob, sticking close to Matt and looking around suspiciously.

Matt drank deep, draining the body entirely of blood. He threw it to a corner of the alleyway and wiped his mouth, before wrapping his arms around the girl.

"Just see what a doctor has to say," Michael tried to be calm and not hold Bill too tightly.

Michael fell silent a moment but he was too close to the door now to turn back and lose his resolve. Opening it to get through with a thrashing German boy was another matter.

Suddenly, Bill's body jerked, before he fell still, his head lolling onto Michael's shoulder.

Sisky mentally rebuked herself for putting herself in danger; she should have just changed to grab that man and drag him over instead of freezing up like that.
