Silently, Matt held Caitlyn out to Butcher, the expression on his face telling the avian to check her over.

Butcher silently took Caitlyn. "I don't know what a waileen is but I'm sorry you met him." He carefully looked at her, running a finger over the scratch marks on her arm.

"Bruha ingah?" Caitlyn looked at the tattooed avian curiously when she felt him start healing her.

Silently, Mikey reached out to take Tom's hand. He stroked Nils' head in apology for suspecting him.

Matt jumped as a baby rolled into his lap. He looked at the dark haired little girl solemnly.

Chase decided to try to go back to sleep since he had no idea what was going on. Reve crawled over and poked Caitlyn in the side. "Hey don't do that, sweetie."

Mikey had to let go of Tom's hand. He held Josie's arms with one and her legs with the other. The little girl screamed as loud as she could, making him cringe in pain.

Tom opened his mouth to say something, but was quickly distracted by Tamsin, who woke up and started wailing at the noise her younger sister was making.

Chase snuggled into Nils and tried as hard as he could to fall asleep.

"Both of you are going to stay calm right?" Butcher watched Reve poke Caitlyn's wing and worried about how fragile it looked.

Adelaide sat up to watch Josie, making scolding noises like she had done at Nils.
