Butch picked up his gun and strapped his pager to his pocket.

Butch sighed and tied back his hair, stretching out.

William returned a moment later, looking a lot more wide awake.

Butch checked nothing untoward was scattered around the room. He walked over to William and drew him into a hug.

William chuckled and tightened his own jacket around him, trying to appear slightly more alert than he actually was.

Butch picked up the keycard and ushered the other man out the door, instantly tensing.

Damian stalked down the street, wiping the blood from his mouth. He'd head back to the apartment and Aliceabella.
