Human Arrival

Demyx gave Hatty a warning look, before walking on towards the room. "Just ignore her Cyzie. Hatty's being silly!"

Cyzarine shrugged. "Okay." she said simply, smiling warmly at Demyx, no hint of mistrust in her eyes whatsoever. Hatty was right: she really did trust him.

Demyx smiled at her, his aqua eyes lighting up a little like they normally did when he was happy. Upon reaching the room he seated himself on the bed and gently eased his guitar from it's case. "You want me to play you anything in paticular?"

Cyzarine shook her head. "Something you like." she replied, smiling warmly. Hatty was perched on Cyzarine's shoulder, blinking at the guitar in wonder.

Demyx nodded. "Just gimme me a second to tune it." He began fiddling with the strings and tuner. "Okay, I think that's done it."
Softly he began to strum, testing the notes before he began playing a song. It was soft and gentle, speeding up and slowing down at certain points.
He didnt notice that while he was playing, the water in his cup was beginning to swirl around creating different shapes and patterns.

Hatty frowned as she spotted this, but was unable to point it out to Cyzarine, as she was too busy listening attentively to Demyx's song. A small, amazed smile crept onto the girl's face.

The song got faster and louder, becoming darker. The water that had been swirling started to get darker, until it was completly black. Demyx didn't notice, he was too absorbered in the music. As he began to get more and more absorbed, his dishwater blonde hair began to change aswell, going a deeper shade of blonde until it began to go black.

Cyzarine blinked as she spotted the water at last, before nearly screaming as she saw Demyx's hair changing. "Hatty? Do you see that?" she whispered, pointing shakily. Hatty nodded.
"Oh." Cyzarine said, blinking. She shot up from the bed and ran to him. "Demyx stop! Look!" she cried, pointing to the water.
Hatty nodded. "Your hair's going funny too." she added.

Demyx blinked and stopped playing. The second he did, the water stopped moving and his hair began to pale back to blonde. "What's wrong?" He asked, oblivious to what they were distressed about.

Cyzarine was shaking visibly, now. "Y-Your hair...i-it was changing colour!" she told him, eyes wide in shock. Next her attention turned to the glass. "And the water went black and was moving!" she added.

Demyx looked down, ashamed. "I'm sorry...i-it used to happen all the time and..It was the reason I couldn't play in school concearts or anything. Then I started busking and that's why I got money, because I'd put a cup of water next to me and.." He trailed off and sighed. "Sorry you two, I didn't think it would happen...I wont play anything again." Slowly he slipped his guitar back into it's case.

Cyzarine blinked. "You worried me, that's all! You play really well!" she told him. Hatty nodded and glanced to the guitar thoughtfully.
"Do you only use that guitar?" she asked curiously. "Because if not I'll take a wild guess and say that's why your radioactive, according to Cyzie." she joked.

Demyx didnt say anything, his hands were shaking a little. "S-sorry, I...I didnt mean to..." He trailed off and leapt up, running out of the room without another word.

Cyzarine followed at once, leaping into the air and flying after him. "Demyx!" she called. "Wait! I'm really sorry!" her eyes widened as she realised where Demyx was heading.
Hatty realised the same thing a split second later. "Oh, this is really not good!" she cried, wringing her hands as she flew, "He's heading towards the games room - he'll be easy picking!"

Demyx threw open the door and walked in, freezing as he saw about twenty avians staring at him. However, in his current mood he was too...In one of his moods, to care. He merely growled in annoyance and stormed back out. He turned down another corridor, not caring where he went.

Cyzarine flew faster, not seeing Demyx storming along below her, too intent on getting to the games room. She blinked as she found he was nowhere inside.
"Where'd he go?" she wondered. Several avians pointe dou the door wordlessly. Cyzarine thanked them (while Hatty growled that they could have been more help) and ran out again.
"Demyx?!" she called. Hatty rolled her eyes.
"If he gets eaten I'm telling." she mumbled.

Demyx had found his way back into the bedroom, and he was now clutching his guitar in his hands. "I hate you." He hissed. "You always spoil everything!" Then he stopped and threw the guitar across the room, before lying down on the bed and burrying his head in the pillow.
"It's not the guitar...It's me. I'm the one who always spoils everything..."

Hatty sighed as she and Cyzarine exited another room, still looking for Demyx. "Okay Cyzie, you go that way and I'll go this way. We'll meet back in the bedroom in half an hour, okay?" she said.
Cyzarine nodded wordlessly and opened her wings, gliding into the air to continue the search. Hatty narrowed her eyes determinedly and flew off in the opposite direction as fast as she could.
"DEMYX!" she yelled, not caring how much noise she made.

Slowly Demyx sat up, remembering the mirror that had been in the drawer. He removed it and stared down at his reflection. Pale...Scrawny...Worthless...
"I dont understand why Cyzarine likes me.." He whispered, his attention now going to the rough edges of the mirror.
"Sharp..." He whispered, his mind going back to when he was 13 and had self harmed...
Quickly he got up and put the mirror back into the draw. "Never again.." He muttered to himself.
Suddenly he heard someone shouting for him,Cyzarine to be exact.
"Cyzie?" He called, poking his head out of the door.

Cyzarine whipped round, her face lighting up when she saw Demyx. "Demyx!" she cried, racing towards him. "You worried me. Are you alright?" she asked. She hugged him tightly.

Demyx hugged her back weakly. "I'm fine..Sorry about scaring you I- I didnt mean too..." He tightened his grip on her a little.

Cyzarine burried her face in his chest, inhaling his musky scent. She liked it, and her smile widened shakily. A few tears began to soak into his shirt, but Cyzarine just held on to him.

"Cyzie, are you alright?" Demyx asked, upon noticing she was crying. Gently he picked her up, carrying her into the room before sitting on the bed and pulling her into his lap. "What's wrong Cyzarine?"

Cyzarine shook her head, tears still rolling down her cheeks. "I-I don't want to lose you." she choked out, trying to stop her tears and failing. Her cheeks flushed in embarassment, but she still wasn't able to stop.

Demyx hugged her a little closer. "You wont loose me unless you want to Cyzarine. Promise." He kissed her forehead comfortingly and gently wiped away some of her tears with his thumb.
