"N-iii-ss!" The baby giggled, staring at Tom with his huge eyes.

Butcher paused when his phone rang and he got up to answer it, "Hello?"

"To the wedding? It's today? Yeah..." Butcher smiled.

"Of course that's a yes," Butcher grinned. "I wouldn't miss my chance to throw rice at you guys."

"William?" Butcher chuckled. "Feeling hormonal?"

"Oh no reason... You're very... giggly," Butcher chuckled. "Anyways about your question, whichever way is easier for you."

"Michael?" Butcher paused. "Michael is there? Since when?"

"That's nice. Good. Well... Do you want to meet me halfway?" Butcher chuckled.

"See you," Butcher closed his cell phone and turned back to Mikey and Tom.

Mikey's eyes widened slightly. "Y-you're leaving?" He bit his lip.

Butcher's face fell as he moved back over to Mikey. "I won't go if you don't think I should, but it would only be a day. I'd come back after it's over." He leaned in to kiss his lover's cheek.

Mikey moved his head out of the way. "Whatever." He said in a monotonous voice.

Butcher sighed and tried to dial back with one hand but William wouldn't pick up. He put his phone down.

Mikey rolled his eyes. "Go to your happy little wedding and try not to get the human eaten." He avoided looking at Butcher.

"No, you need me," Butcher pushed his phone out of sight.

Mikey turned back around. "I said go!"

Butcher's eyes grew wide in surprise, "Okay."

"Thank you." Mikey turned away again, annoyed.

"You don't really want me to go do you?" Butcher stood, looking back at Mikey hesitantly.

"I don't give a shit." Mikey snorted, trying to hold back tears. "It's your life."

"Tell me what's wrong," Butcher asked softly.

"Leave me alone." Mikey muttered, mouth taunt.

Butcher scratched his head, trying to think of what might be wrong. He bit his lower lip, "I'll stay."

"I said go!" Mikey screamed, making Tom and Nils jump.

"Nothing bad will happen this time," Butcher said quietly, hoping it was true as he backed away.
