Mikey touched down outside Mhera's door, knocking gently. Anielka let him in, smiling.

As soon as Mhera turned around, he knew something was wrong. Her eyes were fully red. "The time?" He said quietly, sitting down beside her.

"It happened a few days ago." Mhera reached out for Mikey's hand, sensing the young man needed comfort. "What's wrong?"

Mikey crawled over to cuddle up next to her. "I just got stabbed." He mumbled. "And some crazy fox-he-she thing posessed Andrew. I'm scared." Mhera gently stroked his hair.

"Crazy fox-he-she thing?" Mhera held the man who was like her son close. "Do you mean a kitsune? Why was she after you?"

"Because of the time I went slightly insane and killed Carden's clan." Mikey mumbled, flushing. "I think she was supposed to do it or something."

"He's doing really great." Mikey perked up. "He said his first word today, and he won't stop saying 'Papa'." He smiled proudly. "He's so cute."

"Sounds it." Mhera laughed, kissing the top of Mikey's head. "Does he still look like you?"

"According to Andrew, he's as moody as me too." Mikey chuckled, hugging the old woman again. "And he's as violent as Heafy; only with a rattle."

Mhera chuckled. "Trust you to have a child like him." She stroked Mikey's hair again. "I hope I get to be his grandma too."

"Right now, I have no other tips apart from 'be on your guard'." Mhera played with his hair. "But some sort of mental block would be worth it."

"Mm... ok." Mikey stood up and kissed Mhera's cheek. "I'm locking you up in Mandible House next week, so you know." He said goodbye to Anielka and left.
