Gabriel chucked. "Alright I'll give you an answer." the hand supporting her legs moved up to caress her backside. "I can do that."

Roxine let out a small gasp of surprise, her cheeks flushing afterwards. "Th-That doesn't count."

Gabriel grinned. "Yes it does."

Roxine pouted. "No way!" she whined. "I have a reputation!"

Gabriel shrugged. "Screw that."

Roxine pouted more. "So you get to keep a reputation and not me?" she scowled at him playfully. "You're just unfair."

Gabriel sighed. "Alright, alright. No more porno shoots"

Roxine grinned triumphantly. "You really won't miss them." she assured him, moving to kiss his ear.

Gabriel smirked playfully. "But I'll miss ripping people's heads off!" He whined playfully.

Roxine shot a glare at him. "Have you forgotten there's a war coming?" she asked him calmly.

Gabriel shrugged. "Point." He sighed. "Don't get so snappy, I said no more shoots."

Roxine sighed too. "I'm sorry, okay? The war is just freaking me out."

Gabriel paused. "Why?"

Roxine looked away. "Because...the girls are kinda like a family. In a weird sorta way." she shrugged. "Just don't wanna see 'em dying."

Gabriel shrugged. "Don't fight in the war then."

Roxine shook her head. "I would if I could. But we can't go back to New York for reasons I am not gonna go into purely because it's too long a story, and staying on the fence is no longer an option, really."

Gabriel blinked. "You can't stay on the fence...Because of me?"

Roxine pulled a face. "Actually, I'm thinking more because we're mostly humans; the cities' main food supply."

Gabriel laughed. "That makes more sense."

Roxine nodded. "So the alliance with you makes a whole lot more sense." she smirked. "Not that it isn't plain fun, though."

Gabriel smirked. "Everything with me around is fun Roxine."

Roxine laughed lightly. "True, true!" she paused. "Seriously, though. Put me down."

Gabriel shook his head. "Nope." He smirked and threw her up in the air, catching her with ease.

Roxine let out a cry, eyes wide in surprise. She glared at Gabriel as best she could, though it was clear she didn't mind it as much as she pretended. "Gabriel!"

Gabriel smiled. "That's my name."
