Scared

Butcher fought down the urge to vomit. He'd never been this high up before but he needed to figure out where he was going. He needed to find someone to talk to who understood him. Landing's gonna be a bitch.

Birds. Butcher felt calmed by being in the air. He didn't really feel the need to find a friend to seek advice from anymore. I've got no chance with anyone anyway. He rolled to the side to follow the flock that had caught his eye.

"Yo! Cousin!" Butcher yelled at the birds, scattering them effectively. "Do you think everyone's going to hate me?"

"You guys are laaaame!" Butcher made a thumbs down gesture with both hands and made a face when he heard an unfamiliar sound. He looked up to see an airplane pass overhead and yelled at it. "HEY! SLOW DOWN I WANT A RIDE!" He sped after it.

Unable to catch up, Butcher pouted. "FINE BE THAT WAY!" He ran his hand through his hair, surprised by how much longer it was than he remembered. "I need a drink..."

"Need a drink," Butcher repeated, drifting on the air currents and scanning the city with his eyes for somewhere that looked promising.

Butcher stopped a moment, thinking he heard his name. "Huh?" He looked around and found himself facing... "I need a drink." He groaned. This isn't happening.

"Mikey needs me?" Butcher looked around frantically. "Where is he?"

"Okay," Butcher nodded and looked at the little girl before heading in the direction Nick had indicated. He knew speed was important and hoped he wouldn't have to land.
