Anything But Love

Michael sped up a little to avoid being stuck in the middle of the road when the light changed. He put his phone away and tapped his fingers on the wheel as he gripped it, wondering what he would do.

"Shit!" dareen pulled over realising he was lost and ran back through the future. He reached over checking the glove box for his gun if other people where going to get involved he'd be ready.

Michael swerved as his heart started beating faster. Of all the things he didn't expect to happen this was probably one of the most frightening.

Eyes wide, Michael did as he was told. "Matt? What are you doing here?"

Darren stopped as the mermories or what ever they were fuzzed and changed while he watched. It hurt. He recovered and started up the siren hitting the acselarator.

Unable to argue with that, Michael followed Matt's directions, preparing himself to make a run for it.

Michael squeaked unintentionally. He wasn't sure if he should ask where they were going.

Michael was fairly certain he wouldn't be dropped but he still felt a new sympathy for dogs and cats with small children as owners.

"I don't really know. I think they think I hurt Tom... Bill. Maybe they switched and they think I did something." Michael wiped his face with his hand.

Darren looked around him and saw a side alley. He pulled over again and jumped out gun in one hand planning to cut them off.

Darren turned the corner. "Stop." He said it loud enough for them to hear but no louder. "I've got scatter rounds in this so I can shoot between you and hit you both."

"Yeah..." Michael trailed off, looking a little shocked. "That's the guy from the hospital."

"And thats your very quiet friend who will most likly try to attack me." He focused the gun on Chislett. "But can he move faster than I can shoot?"

Michael sat where he was and peered down at the man with the gun, wondering how exactly he had found them.

Darren looked up blocking his senses as much as possible from the two men whose futures were almost over welming him. "Come down now. I mean come on you'll get bail easily and if you hadn't of resisted arrested I'd have said you'd have got off completly as is you might just scxrap a fine."
