New in Town

Victoria stepped off the coach silently, drawing her coat around her body. She looked around impassively before stepping towards a dark alleyway. "Excuse me, miss?" She saw a spotty youth come towards her. "I'd be careful with the alleys, we've had some attacks..." Whatever he was about to say was cut off as Victoria pressed against him. He gasped, eyes hopeful - then she bit him. She drank him dry and let him fall to the ground before heading on her way.

The glamourous vampire stepped calmly through the alleyway. Her dark, curled hair gently bobbed against her shoulders as she passed badly lit streets, on her way to the centre. The wind was bitter as it cut through her, but she ignored it and kept on her way. She crossed the road.

Aliceabella hugged Vlad to her and walked silently down the street, alert as she could be.

Victoria paused another hapless victim in the street. "Excuse me sir, do you have a light?" She simpered. "Oh!" She improvised as she was given the lighter. "Cold hands. Cold hands... warm heart."

Aliceabella paused as she passed a woman asking for a lighter, wondering what she could want that for when she didn't have any cigarettes.

Victoria slipped a cigarette out from her sleeve and lit it. "Are you in a hurry?" The man shook his head as she continued to flirt with him. She took a genteel drag.

Aliceabella shrugged and then scowled in annoyance as she dropped her purse. Sighing, she grabbed it off the ground and straightened up again.

"Would you mind walking me to the Metro, I'm afraid I don't know where it is..." Victoria lowered her gaze and looked solemn. The man nodded and took her arm to lead her through the alleyway she'd just come out of.

Aliceabella sat down on a bench and plonked Vlad down next to her, rummaging through her purse.

As soon as they were out of sight of the mainstreet, Victoria dropped her act. She pressed her victim up against the wall. "Oh sir... your muscles..." The man stammered something, blushing. "... I've seen better." She snarled, biting into his neck.

Smiling at having found enough money for a muffin, Aliceabella picked Vlad up and walked towards a food stand.

Victoria dropped the body to the ground and walked out the alleyway, bringing out a mirror to check her make up.

Muffin in hand, Aliceabella sat back down on the bench and offered her son a piece.

Victoria toyed with her new lighter. She lit herself another cigarette and sat down on a bench, thinking to herself.

Vlad lost interest in the muffin as someone sat down on the bench beside them. He waved his arms at them, gurgling happily.
Aliceabella blushed, "Sorry." She muttered to the woman, keeping a secure grip on Vlad.

Victoria shook her head, still in a slight daze. She took another drag of her cigarette, staring at her perfect nails.

Vlad pouted, angry at being ignored by this interesting new person. "Baaad!"
"Vlad be quite." Aliceabella said sternly, hugging Vlad close.

Victoria didn't hear the little boy, looking around the city. She choked on her cigarette when she inhaled accidentally, realising the amount of nonhumans walking around.

Vlad stared in shock as the woman choked, "Papapa?" He lost interest and looked around for Ryland.
Aliceabella's eyebrows rose as she noticed the woman had fangs.

Victoria regained control of her breathing and took another drag of the cigarette. She raised her eyebrows at the woman.

"Paaa!" Vlad shrieked, spotting someone who had a vague resemblence to Ryland.
"That's not Ryland, Vladdy." Aliceabella kissed her son on the head. And Ryland's not your father.

Victoria's eyes widened. She took another look at the baby, frowning.

Aliceabella noticed the woman looking at Vlad, "Can I help you?"

Victoria shook her head slowly and returned to her cigarette. Must be a different RyRy.

Vlad spat out the muffin in his mouth and pointed at another man, "Pa!"
Aliceabella rolled her eyes, "Not Ryland." She offered her son more of the muffin to shut him up.
