Matt walked purposefully through the town, every now and then checking the Australian was following.

Matt walked straight across a road without looking.

Michael scratched his head and followed, looking both ways as he walked behind Matt.

Matt didn't blink as a car came within inches of hitting him.

Michael held his breath as the car stopped and the driver rolled down his window to scream obscenities at Matt but kept following the vampire.

Matt turned around. He glared at the driver.

Michael stopped on the sidewalk to see what would happen as the driver stopped screaming for a moment in shock.

Matt kept staring, one of his triceps tensing ever so slightly.

The driver stared in silence and apologized in a rush before rolling his window back up. Michael was both impressed and intimidated.

Matt shrugged and kept walking, completely unphased.

Michael watched as the driver started his car back up and hastily sped off then took a few running steps to catch up to Matt.

Matt looked at Michael with slight amusement in his eyes as he turned the corner.

Matt turned another sharp corner, taking Michael via the back streets.

Michael almost kept going straight, stumbling a bit as he made the unexpected turn.
