Butch walked through the streets calmly, taking in what Bill had told him. Vampires roamed the streets calmly, and he was certain he had seen the second iris that distinguished avians from humans.

William walked next to Butch, calm look on his face as he observed the people they walked past.

Butch turned sharply, heading towards the hotel they'd been booked into.

William only just noticed Butch turn, jogging to catch up with him again.

Butch had a hand on his modified gun as he picked up his pace.

William finally managed to catch up with Butch. "Damn you move fast."

Butch shot him a look, slipping his gun out his pocket.

William took the hint and removed his own gun, looking at the surrounding buildings.

Suddenly Butch spun around and shot the person behind him. He watched the vampire sink to the floor with an impassive face and put his gun away again.

William turned on his heel and shot past Butch, hitting a vampire square in the chest. "You missed one."

William nodded and followed, putting the safety on his gun before putting it in his pocket.

"Rooms ten and eleven." Butch threw his credit card on the desk. "Reserved in the name of Walker."

William ran a hand through his hair and looked around the lobby.

"I-I'm sorry sir, but room eleven has been booked." The receptionist stammered. Butch frowned.

William blinked in surprise. "By who?" He took a step forwards.

"I-it's a fasttrack conference room, sir." The receptionist flushed. "But I can give you room 107 in replacement?"

Butch shot William a look. "Not good enough. I asked for co-joining rules so me and my colleague could work."

Butch grunted, raising an eyebrow. "I saw the computer. Because of superstition, no one else has rooms on it."
