Wandering

Hood looked around him. "You know, in all the time i've been here I've never just comein to the city centre and walked about."

Xcelia smiled and wrapped an arm around Hood. "Let's get something to eat."

"Well if you'd said that earlier I did burry one of those excellant rabits back at the graveyard." said Hood sounding exasperated.

Xcelia rolled her eyes. "Proper food Hood."

Hood grinned, "I know. I'm just used to eating a la hedge."

Xcelia shook her head. "Come on." She dragged him into a diner.

Hood entered the dinner and was suprised. He could smell the food with his human nose. And it smelt good. "Ummmm...."

Xcelia smiled and sat down in a booth. "I'm gonna get a cheeseburger."

"Hood began to run his eyes over the menu. "I'll just go for a salad."

Xcelia snorted. "Weakling!"

"Hey, I hardly ever get the chance toeat something that isn't meat so I like to enjoy it." He picked a ceasar salad.

Xcelia smiled and stuck her tongue out. "I like cheeseburgers."

Hood waved the waitress over and ordered the salad and the cheese burger. "What do you want to drink?" He asked Xcelia.

Xcelia smirked. "A coffee."

Hood glanced back at the menu. "Tea please." he said and the waitress scrurried off with the order.

Xcelia let her head rest against the back of the chair, taking her top hat off.

"tired?" asked Hood

Xcelia shook her head, starring out the window.

Hood sipped his tea thinking back over the evening. He dropped the mug. "Fuck."

Xcelia continued staring out the window, ignoring the food on her plate.

hood flopped forward and groaned burrying his head in his arms.

Xcelia remained oblivious, still starring out the window.

Hood stood up, "I need to use the bathroom." He left, his face frozen like a rabit in the headlights.

Xcelia's eyes never once left the figure standing on the other side of the street.

Hood leaned over the sink. Running back again and again trying to convince himself he couldn't have been so stupid. He washed his face and returned to the table trying to put it out of his mind. "Whats up?" He asked when he saw Xcelia still staring out the window.
