Matt jumped as something exploded in the sky. What's that? He stared at the light trails in the darkness.

Sisky looked up. Those are fireworks. They are pretty loud but people like how they look so they shoot them off during celebrations.

Sisky tilted her head back towards Matt. She'd seen fireworks before but she'd only be able to see the vampire's first reaction to them once.
