"Where are you going?" Mikey panicked slightly. He calmed himself down, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths. "It was a while ago, Andrew. And in these times, it's either kill or be killed."

"But..." Butcher looked a little lost. All of this was new. He couldn't believe he'd been throwing headfirst into a war from living alone in a dark shithole of an apartment.

Mikey gave him a sad smile. "I'm going to the graveyard. Do you want to come?" He walked across the room and squeezed his shoulder reassuringly.

"Okay," Butcher smiled weakly. He would do anything for Mikey now.

Mikey pushed a curtain away, revealing a balcony. He opened the door and jumped into the air, wings springing into action before he fell.

Butcher followed, falling a little farther than he'd intended because his wings didn't exactly open how he'd wanted them to.

Cyzarine continued to run towards Mikey's bedroom, after finding he and Andrew had left the study.
Seeing the corridor was clear, she opened her wings and flapped along, opening the door with a bang as she found it.
Her eyes widened as she saw Andrew following Mikey out the window.
"HEY!" she yelled, running the length of the room to follow Andrew out last. "WAIT FOR ME!"
