Nick sighed and sat down on Mike's porch. He looked down at his sleeping son with a sad look on his face.

"Being dead is definitely not all it's cracked up to be." He muttered quietly, rocking Nils.

Angel sat down on the step next to him, watching Nils. "C'mon." Nick sighed. "I don't think they're going to show." And why would they? I'm a dead jealous guy.

Matt scuffed the floor as he walked, his long jacket billowing behind him.

Mike quickly followed, but stopped when he saw the shades with the baby. His heart skipped a beat. "Nick? Did something happen to Mikey?"

William squeezed Mike's hand, knowing that the man was panicking.

Sisky followed Matt inside, leaving Mike and William to handle the situation. It embarrassed her but she was hungry again.

"Huh?" Nick looked up. "Oh. No. Mikey's fine." He gave them a sad smile.

Matt stormed down to the basement and sat in the corner.

Mike allowed himself to breathe again. "Then what's wrong?" he asked compassionately.

William smiled at Nick, gently massaging Mike's arm. He then smiled at Angel.

Adam grabbed a snack from the kitchen and rushed down to the basement to sit on her blankets and eat it.

"I just..." Nick sighed. "I didn't feel right there." He stared at his son, who was slowly coming to. "And they definitely didn't want Nils around." A wry smile twisted his lips. "She likes you." He jerked his head to his daughter.

"Oh," Mike simply said, understanding what he meant and how awkward it was. He sat on the porch next to Nick, careful not to touch him.

William walked over and leaned on the wall, still standing. He smiled as he looked down at the ground peacefully.

Nils shook himself awake. "BurdeeDaddyPapa?" He said in confusion.

Mike's face brightened. "Nils already knows words? Wow." He smiled at the baby, fascinated, before looking at Nick again. "Uhm, yeah. How do you...feel about all this?"

William kept silent, listening to the conversation. He lowered himself to the ground and sat in the grass.

"By the time that one was six months old, she was walking and talking." Nick told Mike proudly. "I think he can say... three and a half things now." He poked his son's nose gently, the smile disappearing. "I'm fine with the principle, and with seeing them being affectionate to each other, but it's harder when they're doing more intimate things..." He sighed.
