Mike resisted the urge to squish Mikey in his arms. "I was fucking scared! For a moment I thought you were dead for good. That seriously freaked me out. Don't you dare do that again."

"He was?" Butcher's eyes widened and he took a few steps towards the door. "Oops."

Mikey spun around and practically threw himself at Butcher, wrapping his arms around him.

Butcher wiggled an arm free, ignoring Nils' resumed attack to touch his lover's face, glad he recognized it. "Mikey. How are you?" He felt like his mouth was going to split, as wide as he was grinning.

Mikey made a sound of acknowledgement, slight worry in his eyes. He reached in his pocket for the ever present shot and unbuttoned his shirt, pressing his son to his chest.

Butcher watched, if there was any child he would feel uncomfortable about feeding it would probably be Nils.

Well, if you're not going to do it... Nick stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Mikey's waist. His former lover looked up with a smile, glad that Nick had guessed what he wanted.

Butcher shrugged, he didn't feel as uncomfortable around Nick as he used to for some reason but Mike certainly did. "Carden?"
