"He broke my wing." Mikey took a step back from Mike and took his finger print. "And I'm pretty sure he knocked me out, but I can't remember it very well."

Mike frowned. "William and I are trying to make sure things like that don't happen anymore. Matt is...different."

"I... I don't want to be scared of him." Mikey said quietly. "But... my skin crawls when he gets near. It's difficult."

"I know. He hurt me pretty badly as well; I was scared but I put that aside for Bill. It's his son, after all." Mike nodded understandingly. "Matt can see you're scared. That's why he doesn't want to be near you."
