Sisky pulled her wings out and flew high enough to keep Matt in sight, not bothering with a size change or caring that it made her more conspicuous.

No! She flew low to the ground and changed into a cheetah, only able to keep the shape for as long as it took to keep top speed.

Matt narrowed his eyes, balancing precariously on top of a house. He spread his arms and fell, slamming into the ground.

Matt didn't answer, eyes closed and face pale.

Sisky caught up and looked down at him, falling to her knees and pulling him into her arms. You can't do this to me. I was starting to care about you. Really care. She clenched her eyes shut and hugged him tight.

Blood gently trickled from the back of Matt's head onto her arm.

Sisky swore at the warm wetness on her arm and shifted so she could take her shirt off and tear it for use as a bandage. I've got a bra on it doesn't matter what this looks like. "Matt? Matt, wake up." Tears filled her eyes and she didn't have time to wipe them up before they fell on his face.

"Please wake up," Sisky whispered, letting Matt's head down gently with the bandage in place since her arms were tired. She kept her hands behind his head and cried into his neck since she couldn't bear to look in his face. "If you killed yourself..." She started a threat and stopped, shaking on top of him. William will never forgive me.

Gently, Matt's eyes fluttered open. He reached up and stroked Sisky's tangled hair.

"Matt?" Sisky looked up, shifting on his chest so she could look in his eyes and glare at him. She sniffled as the tears continued to fall freely down her face. "Don't you dare leave me."
