"Mmm..." Mikey wrapped his wings around Butcher briefly. "But we gave Blackinton a lesson that he won't forget in a hurry. Even better, I learnt that you don't mess with a tortured shade."

"Hopefully that mind connection thing will go away on it's own..." Butcher frowned. "I'm not going to let him touch you ever again."

Mikey stroked his face, easing it of its frown. "It'll be useful. I can cope with pain, you know me." Nils wailed. "Come on, let's get this one into the warmth."

"I probably already got him sick," Butcher said apologetically.

"S'alright." Mikey shifted him a bit closer and kissed the top of his head. He knocked on the door and they were let in.

Butcher reached out to touch Mikey or hold his hand as they walked up the stairs, needing the contact and to know that his lover was really allright.

Mikey shivered as Butcher's hand brushed against his wings. "Your hands are cold." He murmured.

Mikey squeaked. "I'm still leader of the avians! I can... punish you somehow." He finished lamely, not knowing what to say. He raced up the stairs, giggling.

"Punish me, Mikey!" Butcher said in a whiny voice and laughed, chasing after him.

Mikey placed Nils on the bed and whirled around to meet his lover, a smile brightening up his pale face.

Butcher cackled and put his cold hands under Mikey's shirt onto his lover's stomach.

Mikey shrieked, laughing. He leant in to kiss his lover on the mouth.

Butcher mock-gasped in surprise and started to massage Mikey's scalp gently.
